After a groundbreaking first year, Tree Scouts Tree Service is entering an exciting new chapter of growth and it starts with welcoming an exceptional new team member.

We’re proud to introduce Todd Sanders, our newest Tree Scout.

A Strong Foundation Built on Military Service

Before entering the tree care industry, Todd served four years in the United States Marine Corps as a jet mechanic. In the Marines, precision, accountability, and safety weren’t optional - they were ingrained. Those same values continue to guide Todd’s work today and align perfectly with the way we operate at Tree Scouts.

As a patriotic company that deeply respects our troops, it’s an honor to have a Marine veteran on our team.

Decades of Tree Care Experience & Leadership

After his military service, Todd went on to spend over 25 years in professional tree care, including founding and operating one of San Diego’s largest and most respected tree service companies.

His experience includes:

• Advanced tree climbing, pruning, and removals
• Crew leadership and job site management
• Job estimating and client communication
• Equipment maintenance and safety oversight
• Deep knowledge of ANSI tree care standards

In short, Todd brings wisdom that can only come from decades of hands-on experience, and delivering expert arborist care.

When Todd relocated to Austin, he received interest from several large tree service companies. But after learning about Tree Scouts - our Scouts Honor promise, our commitment to conservation, and our people-first culture, he knew where he wanted to be.
