Erek Flynn is the co-founder and Expert Arborist behind Tree Scouts Tree Service. After more than a decade learning the trade with several major Central Texas tree companies and rising to arborist before he was 30, Erek launched Tree Scouts with his lifelong friend Zack Masters to bring honest, knowledgeable, customer-first tree care to Georgetown, Leander, Austin, and the surrounding Hill Country.

In March 2026, Erek joined FOX 7 Austin live to share spring tree care guidance for Central Texas homeowners — covering oak wilt timing, storm damage response, and live oak preservation. He oversees field operations and personally consults on complex residential projects across the company's 12 service markets.

His favorite tree is the majestic red oak.
